Very striking lamp base with a very typical design from Dümler & Breiden in the so-called Fat Lava era. The manufacturer, like Scheurich, Steuler or Carstens Tönnieshof, stands for the worldwide success of WGP – West German Pottery – in the 60s and 70s. Very brutalist Fat Lava glaze in orange/gray/brown, with very elaborate relief and interesting color gradients. Craftsmanship 1A. Dimensions: height 43.5 cm, circumference 74 cm. Very good, perfect condition. Embossed on the bottom with manufacturer identification and model number: 52 43.
Ideal to place as a floor lamp or a low table or board.
New shade: Particularly large and high lampshade made in our own workshop from 70s retro fabric, translucent, very beautiful color to match the base. Dimensions: ø 35 x h 50 cm.
